The theme for the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is
Anything Goes. You must have used something printed from a CD, a USB or a
digital download and you must state where the item used is from.
I belong to a birthday card swap group on a
forum and this card was made for the next birthday on the list.
I started with an 8 by 8 card blank and cut it
into a hexagon shape using a die. I then cut the backing paper with a smaller hexagon
die.
The middle hexagon has a cream backing plate
behind it. I finished the card with burgundy pearls but the camera makes them
look like beads with holes in – and they say the camera never lies!
Items used:
8 x 8 card blank from Creative Crafting World as is the sentiment on the inside.
Backing paper is from a Tattered Lace USB Ultimate
Magazine Collection Issues 1 – 40 (paper is from issue 12).
Tonic Studios Craft Perfect card in
Crimson Silk.
Tonic Studios Peony Hexagon Layering
Die Set – also used to make card blank.
Card Making Magic Fancy Hexagons Die
Set.
The challenge will close on Saturday 18th July
at 1pm.
Don't forget that the CD Sunday Plus Challenge
is now about making items using something printed from a craft CD Rom, USB or
digital download. You can use other craft items on your card/project, such as a
stamp or die, but you must include something printed from the new categories.
In your blog post/Facebook entry you must give the name of the printed item
you've used.
We also have a Facebook page if you don't have a blog - The CD Sunday Plus Challenge.

I love the shape of this Pamela. I haven't used a hexagon shape for a long time. I am very boring and tend to use squares. I do like what you have done with your shape though.
