#111 Anything Goes - CD Sunday Plus Challenge

I’m hosting the challenge this time and I’ll be picking the Top Three entries.
As usual the theme is Anything Goes at The CD Sunday Plus Challenge - remember you must have used something printed from a CD, a USB or a digital download, you must state where the item used is from and you must make a physical item and not a digital one.
A very special lady and dear friend had her 80th birthday recently – Carol who writes the CD Sunday Challenge posts and makes sure the DT members stay on track!
Sadly I had Covid so had to wait to make and send her card. She received it a few days after her birthday. Carnation Crafts recently released a new collection of dies and vignettes and I just had to use them to make Carol’s card.

It took quite a bit of measuring and head scratching to get the hearts the right size and in the right place but I got there in the end. The flowers were hand made using a new set of Crafts Too/John Next Door flower dies. I loved how they turned out and finished them off with light pink dew drops in the centres.

Items used:
Carnation Crafts - Made With Flowers Numbers Set and free vignette.
Crafts Too – Blousy Peony flower dies and dew drops.
Tattered Lace - Hearts layering dies.
Tonic Studio - Craft Perfect card in Aubergine Purple and Blossom Pink.
The challenge will close on Saturday 10th June 2023 at 1pm.Don't forget that the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is now about making items using something printed from a craft CD Rom, USB or digital download. You can use other craft items on your card/project, such as a stamp or die, but you must include something printed from the new categories. You must also make a physical item and not a digital one. In your blog post/Facebook entry you must give the name of the printed item you've used

#110 Anything Goes - CD Sunday Plus Challenge

We’ve had several Bank Holidays close together recently and I’m sure everyone has been busy enjoying time with their family and friends. At least I hope that’s why the number of entries to The CD Sunday Plus Challenge has been lower for the last two challenges. Hopefully once the last BH at the end of May is over we’ll see the numbers increase again – fingers crossed.
As usual the theme is Anything Goes - remember you must have used something printed from a CD, a USB or a digital download, you must state where the item used is from and you must make a physical item and not a digital one.
My design team entry for this challenge is the ATCs I made for two swaps I’m in. The theme for the first swap was pizza (two ATCs) and herbs and spices (one ATC) and for the second swap the theme was green and gold (two ATCs).

The ATCs in the first swap were all made using digikits in Serif Craft Artist with some 3D elements to add a bit of interest.

The ones for the second swap were crossed stitched patterns from a Sharon Duncan CD. I had to adjust the pattern slightly to fit the ATC size.

 Items used:

Serif Craft Artist digis used: Classic Transport (for black and white check background) Bloke At The Movies (for full pizza, empty box and Hasta quote), PJ Party (for slice of Pizza), Craft Scape English Town (for sky and grass background), Born 2 Shop Go Green (for Thyme quote), Mediterranean Market (for the sacks of spices), Craft Scape Garden Ornaments (for the herbs in pots).
Sharon Duncan Cross Stitch For Cards CD Rom (for rose and balloons).
The challenge will close on Saturday 27th May 2023 at 1pm – another Bank Holiday weekend LOL! And it will be my turn to host the challenge and pick the Top Three entries.
