Since I last posted for the CD Sunday
Challenge there’s been a few changes! One in particular is the name - it’s now
The CD Sunday Plus Challenge. The name’s been changed because we will now accept
entries were something has been printed from craft USBs, digital downloads as
well as craft CDs. It appears to have been a popular decision because the
number of entries has increased. And I’m happy that we can now use USBs because
I’ve bought some and it means I can include them in my Design Team entry.
This fortnight’s challenge is extra
special because Debbi Moore has kindly sent the team several of her CDs to use.
It came about because one of the team was chatting to Debbi at a craft show and
she was interested in hearing about the CD Sunday Challenge. If you have any of
Debbi’s CDs, USBs or downloads it would be lovely if you could use them for
this challenge but of course you don’t have to. As usual the theme is Anything
Goes.
For my card I used an image and paper
from Debbi’s Mermaids CD. It’s a quick card made using an 8x8 card blank and attaching
the backing paper to it. I then die cut a mat from a pale lilac card. Both the
card and the die are from The Paper Boutique – A Sprinkle of Winter card collection
and Love Conquers All die set. The mermaid topper had a second gold frame
around it but I trimmed it off so it would sit nicely on the mat.I finished the
card with gold pearls and a sentiment again both from The Paper Boutique.
Don't forget that the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is now about making items using something printed from a craft CD Rom, USB or digital download. You can use other craft items on your card/project, such as a stamp or die, but you must include something printed from the new categories. In your blog post/Facebook entry you must give the name of the printed item you've used.
The challenge runs until Saturday 9th November at 1pm.
We also have a Facebook page if you don't have a blog - The CD Sunday Plus Challenge.
