The theme for the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is
Anything Goes. You must have used something printed from a CD, a USB or a
digital download and you must state where the item used is from.
I belong to a card swap on the Craft Telly
forum and the theme for April is Easter or Spring. I decided to make an Easter bonnet
card following the current craze for hat easel cards which is sweeping
papercraft groups on Facebook. Originally I was going to use artificial grass
and little Easter chicks for the decorations but that would have involved using
public transport to travel to the nearest town. I decided against doing that
with the current spread of the coronavirus so instead I turned to dies and
Craft Artist.
Items used:
Tonic’s Craft Perfect card in Buttermilk
Yellow.
Golden Yellow card from Limetree Craft (I always
stock up with their card when I visit craft shows).
Serif Craft Artist – Easter Eggs digi kit by
Victoria Nelson for the papers
Flowers are from Craft Fairy Flowers. Cream
flower sprayed with Pearl Diamond Spray & Sparkle from Crafter’s Companion.
Burgundy flowers sprayed with Tonic Studios Nuvo Mica Mist spray in Crimson
Velvet
Dies used: Celtic Dream Layering Die Set,
Circle Layering Die Set, Scalloped Circle Layering Die set – all by Tonic
Studios. The Paper Boutique Occasions & Celebrations dies Vol.1 for the Happy
Easter sentiment.
The challenge will close on Saturday 25th
April at 1pm.
Don't forget that the CD Sunday Plus Challenge
is now about making items using something printed from a craft CD Rom, USB or digital
download. You can use other craft items on your card/project, such as a stamp
or die, but you must include something printed from the new categories. In your
blog post/Facebook entry you must give the name of the printed item you've
used.
We also have a Facebook page if you don't have a blog - The CD Sunday Plus Challenge.
