The theme for the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is
Anything Goes. You must have used something printed from a CD, a USB or a
digital download and you must state where the item used is from.
I’ve followed the creative career of Paula
Pascual for many, many years, I just love her simple designs. She’s designed
many die collections over the years – at one time she worked for Sizzix, she’s
also worked for Tonic Studios. She once walked past me in the local supermarket
when she was visiting Tonic HQ which is just over a mile from where I live. She’s
now released her own range of dies called Bright Rosa through the Craft Stash
website. I have quite a few of them!
I’ve been wanting to use her sunflower die for
a while and whilst I was confined to the house recently decided to use it to
make this card.
The backing paper is from a free Daisy Trail
digi kit called Holiday Photobook. The photo makes it look completely blue but
in real life it has very faint white patches that are meant to be wispy clouds
in a summer sky.
Items used:
Bright Rosa Sunflower Band die set and Bright
Rosa Sunflower die set.
The Paper Boutique Bee Happy Doily Die for the
bee and sentiment.
The centre of the sunflower is cut using a Gemini
Stitch Edge Circle die and then embossed using a Cuttlebug folder called Swiss
Dots
The challenge will close on Saturday 9th
May at 1pm.
Don't forget that the CD Sunday Plus Challenge
is now about making items using something printed from a craft CD Rom, USB or
digital download. You can use other craft items on your card/project, such as a
stamp or die, but you must include something printed from the new categories.
In your blog post/Facebook entry you must give the name of the printed item
you've used.
We also have a Facebook page if you don't have a blog - The CD Sunday Plus Challenge.
