As usual the theme at The CD Sunday Plus Challenge is Anything Goes -
remember you must have used something printed from a CD, a USB or a digital
download, you must state where the item used is from and you must make a
physical item and not a digital one.
For the challenge this time I thought I’d share ATCs that I
made for a forum ATC swap. The theme was Egging You On and we could use any
designs as long as there was an egg on the ATC somewhere. We only need to make
2 ATCs but most of us make far more than that – I made 8 altogether!
Six of them were designed in Serif Craft artist using
various digi kits - three by Victoria Nelson - Easter
Eggs, Birds and Blooms, Enchanted Ruin. Plus Kate Hadfield’s Prehistoric and
Daisy Trail’s Stroll in The Park and Dawn Chorus.
The first two ATCs have backgrounds from digikits
and the chicks are fussy cut from an Hunkydory kit. The egg tree is an image
from a digi kit with sky and grass combined to make a scene again using digi
kits.
The two spotty birds ATCs have backgrounds and
the bird images from the Hunkydory kit. The nests are from digi kits but the
eggs were recoloured in Craft Artist before printing and fussy cutting them. The
eggs were really tiny so fussy cutting them was a real labour of love – I must
be mad! The last ATC with the duckling was from the Hunkydory kit and I added the
cracking egg and broken egg shells. Again they were recoloured and resized in Craft
Artist before fussy cutting out.
The final two ATCs didn’t have any digital elements but I thought
you might still like to see them. The baking one is from a magazine kit and the other one is
cut from ‘oil on water’ effect card that I’ve had many years.
The
challenge will close on Saturday 14th May 2022 at 1pm.
Don't
forget that the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is now about making items using
something printed from a craft CD Rom, USB or digital download. You can use
other craft items on your card/project, such as a stamp or die, but you must
include something printed from the new categories. You must also make a
physical item and not a digital one. In your blog post/Facebook entry you must
give the name of the printed item you've used.
Lovely eggs Pamela. Only you would have made 8 instead of 2. I think you like making ATCs as much as I do. Hugs, Carol xx
