CD Sunday - No images or photos

This is the first challenge for me as a member of the CD Sunday Design Team and the theme is 'No images or photos'. At first it seems a difficult theme but with some thought it is possible to make a card without an image or a photo.
I found an example of a handmade envelope in the Papercraft Inspirations magazine and I turned it into a card.

The backing paper is from the Times Gone by CD by Crafter's Companion. The top section (that would have been a flap if it was an envelope) was cut using 2 dies from the decorative Rectangles nesting set by Tattered Lace. I went around the edges with a black fine liner pen to make them stand out. I tried inking the edges but because of the curves and points it didn't come out even. The corner die cuts  are a free die with issue 12 of the Tattered Lace magazine called Collecting Corners. The flowers are from my stash and I've added tiny drops of Nuvo Crystal drops by Tonic to the centres of the flowers in the die cuts.
The theme runs for two weeks so you have until Saturday 25th June at 13:00 to enter and there is always a prize for the card which wins the challenge. Don't forget to use something printed from a craft CD or an application such as Serif Craft Artist, My Craft Studio, DoCrafts Digital designer etc. You also have to mention in your blog post which CD you have used to be eligible to win the prize. Good Luck everyone!

Edited to add: I scheduled my post for 8:00 am and good old Mr Blogger let me down!

Yes my design was from a craft magazine that one of my crafters saw ans wanted the group to have a go. I wasn't too happy with it but it seemed to have turned out ok....eventually....I did fight with it at times lol Glad you're part of our lovely team and I look forward very much to seeing more of your creations Pamela.
