#130 Anything Goes - CD Sunday Plus Challenge

As usual the theme is Anything Goes at The CD Sunday Plus Challenge - remember you must have used something printed from a CD, a USB or a digital download, you must state where the item used is from and you must make a physical item and not a digital one.
Every year I’ve made a mermaid themed birthday card for my next door neighbour’s youngest daughter. This time I asked her Mam if she was still into mermaids or was there anything else she liked. My neighbour told me that she still liked mermaids but also witches and butterflies so this is what I came up with:

The backing paper is from Victoria Nelson’s digi kit called Butterfly Meadow that I recoloured in Serif Craft Artist. The witch image was a free download by an amazing artist friend. He used to put his designs on his blog and you could download them for free but sadly he no longer blogs or draws. I also added a three butterflies that have been in my stash for many years.

The challenge will close on Saturday 13th April 2024 at 1pm.

Don't forget that the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is now about making items using something printed from a craft CD Rom, USB or digital download. You can use other craft items on your card/project, such as a stamp or die, but you must include something printed from the new categories. You must also make a physical item and not a digital one. In your blog post/Facebook entry you must give the name of the printed item you've used.

We also have a Face Book page if you want to enter but don’t have a blog - The CD Sunday Plus Challenge.

  1. Hi Pamela. A super image. Obviously a very talented man. A shame he is no longer producing new ones. Love the butterflies too.

  3. Pamela, what a fun card! Your recipient reminds me of my daughter at that age. Always wise to ask for updates! LOL She should like it but if not, at least you tried. XOX
