I know a lot of
crafters say that they never make the same card twice but I think if you really
like a design then it’s a shame never to make it again. Back in 2015 I made a
Christmas card that I really like and I make one almost every year. He’s such a
jolly looking Santa that I can’t not use him often on a card. I’ve made them
for my design team entry previously and blogged them in 2015 and 2021 (click on
the dates) They’re always slightly different.
This time I changed
the shape of the central topper and made it circular. I added clear gems this
time whereas previously I’ve used Nuvo drops in pink and I used pink mirror card.
Items used:
Serif Craft Artist: Hearts and Roses
Christmas, Christmas Bouquet and Posters digi kits.
The
challenge will close on Saturday 23rd December 2023 at 1pm and
reopen on Sunday 4th February 2024. See you in the new year!!!!
Don't forget that the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is
now about making items using something printed from a craft CD Rom, USB or
digital download. You can use other craft items on your card/project, such as a
stamp or die, but you must include something printed from the new categories.
You must also make a physical item and not a digital one. In your blog
post/Facebook entry you must give the name of the printed item you've used.
We
also have a FaceBook page if you want to enter but don’t have a blog - The CD Sunday Plus Challenge.
A fabulous Father Christmas Pamela,I agree that items we love should be used more often
ReplyDeleteI agree. I have done just a few - especially stitch cards - that I feel deserve more than one outing. I love this one of yours Pamela. It is what I call 'softly Christmas'.
