Punch It Out - CD Sunday

I've finally found the time, and the energy, to do some crafting and have made a card for the latest challenge at CD Sunday. The theme has been chosen by Wynn and is 'Punch It Out' - Wynn would like to see punches and/or dies used plus the usual requirement of something from a craft CD. My card is quite simple and straight forward but as I'd picked up some sort of virus everything was an effort to do so it took me several days to make it.

The backing paper behind the background die is a paper from a Sharon Duncan CD called Embossibilities Curls and Swirls. It was printed onto a pearl effect card similar to Centura Pearl so has a lovely shimmery effect. The background die is from Tonic - Deco Diamond Patterned Panels. The flowers were cut from Tonic's Craft Perfect card in Amber Yellow and Cream. I recently bought the Tonic Designer Cardmaking boxed kit and there was a sample of the card with it which I used for the flowers. It really is lovely card - shame I don't need any more card in my craft room! I used Tonic dies for the flowers and leaves - Magnolia Flora and Woodland Aster. I then finished the card by putting Tonic Nuvo Crystal drops in the centre of the flowers and Tonic Nuvo Glitter drops on the background diecut.
It was obviously the 'Tonic' I needed because after I'd finished the card I started to feel better LOL!

The challenge finishes on Saturday 11th March at 1pm so plenty of time to enter. Wynn will provide a prize for the winner of the challenge as long as something from a CD has been used and you name that CD in your blog post.
