#147 Anything Goes - CD Sunday Plus Challenge

I love making birthday cards for my next door neighbours’ eldest daughter. She’s into a Steampunk/Goth look so I get to use my vast Steampunk crafting collection. Not to everyone’s taste but it’s what she likes.

Items used:

Magik Graphics: Belleza Mortals Dos CD.

Creative Crafting World: Lynda Chapman’s World of Paper black card.

Limetree Crafts: Steel Blue mirror card.

Crafts-too: Burgundy Essentials Card.

From stash: 8 by 8 inch card base and finished with gems and ‘nail heads’ from stash.

Don't forget that the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is about making items using something printed from a craft CD Rom, USB or digital download. You can use other craft items on your card/project, such as a stamp or die, but you must include something printed from the new categories. You must also make a physical item and not a digital one. In your blog post/Facebook entry you must give the name of the printed item you've used.

As usual the theme is Anything Goes at The CD Sunday Plus Challenge - remember you must have used something printed from a CD, a USB or a digital download, you must state where the item used is from and you must make a physical item and not a digital one.

My lovely next door neighbours recently celebrated 25 years of married life. They’re such lovely people and brilliant neighbours so I wanted to make a special card for them. There’s only one craft company to turn to in order to make a very special card and that’s Carnation Crafts!

The base card is cut from silver mirror card using Carnation’s Into Spring Card Shape. I then cut the included filigree dies from silver glitter card. The bride and groom are dies and vignettes from the Happy Couple dies. I added a 25 and Happy Anniversary die cut to finish off the card. 

Items used:

Carnation Crafts: Happy Couple die set from the Perfect Day Collection and Into Spring Card Shape die from the Into Spring Collection.

The Paper Boutique: Happy Anniversary die from Sentiments Volume IV.

Claina Palma: 25 dies from the Numbers set.

Crafts Too: Silver Glitter Card – non shed.
