Father Christmas - CD Sunday

After last week's sponsored challenge this week it's Meg's turn to pick a theme for the CD Sunday Challenge. The team are focusing very much on Christmas as we know that most card makers will be trying to get their cards made at this time so Meg has chosen Father Christmas as the theme.
I've made a very simple straight forward A5 card for this theme.

Both the image and the backing paper are from Christmas 2 by Card Creations Plus. It's not the BP designed to go with this image but I thought they went well together. The 'Merry Christmas' was designed in Serif Craft Artist. I picked colours that I thought would match the 'matting' around the main image. I finished the card by dotting all the centres of the 'stars' with Tonic Nuvo Drops. A really quick card, just an image and sentiment on top of the backing paper, just what we need at this time of year with so many cards to make.

You have until Saturday 12th November at 13:00 to enter - don't forget Meg will have a prize for the winner. You must include something from a craft Cd on your card and you must name that CD in your blog post - we might want to add it to our wish list LOL!

  1. Wonderful image Pamela, I love the traditional Father Christmas, the bp works well with it and a great sentiment

  2. Simple and straightforward it may be Pamela but a lovely card. What would you do with out your Nuvo drops? I can't seem to use mine as well as you do yours.

  3. A super Christmas card Pamela, such a wonderful Father Christmas.

  4. A lovely traditional Father Christmas Pamela. My kind of it W xx

  5. I really like this image and the backing paper, they go together really well.

  6. Lovely traditional card - very festive.
The cdroms I am having problems with are the Forever Friends ones they have their own system called Digital designer.
