#38 Anything Goes - CD Sunday Plus

The theme for the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is Anything Goes. You must have used something printed from a CD, a USB or a digital download and you must state where the item used is from.

In my previous blog post I mentioned a street party that was held for the VE Day celebrations. We had a great time and laughed a lot! I don’t drink alcohol but my neighbours do and as the evening progressed the stories became funnier and funnier. My card depicts a very funny story that one of my neighbours told us – I won’t repeat the story as you ‘had to be there’ to appreciate how funny it was. The scene was created in Serif Craft Artist.

Items used:

Creative Crafting World 5 by 7 landscape card blank.

Digi kits used – Craft Scapes Landscapes, Craft Scapes Italian Escapes, Craft Scapes Stately Home and Pirates.

The challenge will close on Saturday 4th July at 1pm.

Don't forget that the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is now about making items using something printed from a craft CD Rom, USB or digital download. You can use other craft items on your card/project, such as a stamp or die, but you must include something printed from the new categories. In your blog post/Facebook entry you must give the name of the printed item you've used.

We also have a Facebook page if you don't have a blog - The CD Sunday Plus Challenge.

#37 Anything Goes - CD Sunday Plus

The theme for the CD Sunday Plus Challenge is Anything Goes. You must have used something printed from a CD, a USB or a digital download and you must state where the item used is from.

For the 75th VE Day celebrations my neighbours and I had a ‘street’ party. We’re at the end of a cul-de-sac and sat in the middle of the road whilst keeping to social distancing rules. During the course of the evening I found out it was my neighbour’s birthday in a couple of days and her husband hadn’t been able to buy a card because of the lockdown. So I made this card for him to give to her.

I covered an 8 by 8 card blank with a rose embossed card from Tonic Studios. The next layer was printed from the same CD as the flowers and embossed using a Tonic folder. The floral arrangement is a charisma printed from a My Craft Studio CD and die cut using the matching dies for both the flowers and the leaves. The card was finished off with a gold Happy Birthday peel off.

Items used:

Tonic Studio Ivory Toile card from Tonic monthly kit no.15.

Tonic Studio Just For You Dimensional Embossing Folder and Die Set.

My Craft Studio CD Magical Midnight for the pink backing card and also the flower and foliage charisma.

Magical Midnight Just Because flower and foliage die and Anniversary Bouquet foliage die.

The challenge will close on Saturday 20th June at 1pm.
