♫ Fly me to the moon............♫

♫  Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On a-Jupiter and Mars

So why have I been singing this tune all week? That's down to the team at CD Sunday LOL! They've chosen the theme 'To the moon and back' and ever since I've read it I've had it in my brain!
I've managed a couple of cards to fit the theme this week. The first one was designed in Serif Craft Artist using backing paper and an image from DoCrafts Digital Designer Forever Friends Black and Gold and a moon image from one of my many digi kits. It's my wedding anniversary on Sunday so I thought this card would be very suitable.

And today I managed to make another card fit the theme using 2 cds. The star backing paper is from Sharon Duncan's Everyday Embossabilities. The silhouette is from a very old Card Creations Plus Cd dating back to 2000 that just has Silhoupage Images on it. I bought in the days of Alan and Barry having their own website before Card Creations Plus had even been on Create and Craft.

I've used a Marianne Design Craftables die for the frame called Passe Part-Out Round and finished it off with bling.
This week the challenge is sponsored by Creative Crafting World who have provided a mega prize of a CD, gift bags and card.

All together now:

Fill my heart with song and
Let me sing forever more
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore

  1. Oh Pamela - you have chosen my all time favourite song. I only have to hear Nat King Cole sing it and I am weak at the knees. Even at my old age.
Lovely cards and thank you for entering two beauties. (I did buy the square Passe Partout but haven't used it yet).
